399 CFS @ Gateway - The Gallatin has been staying fairly clear with the cooler weather the last couple weeks. Nymphing has still been producing the most fish, with stonefly patterns, worms, and BWO nymphs. Fish are starting to rise to midge and BWO dry flies as well as March Browns on the lower section of the river.

Recommended Flies:

Rubberleg Camo #8
Jim Dandy Worm Red #12
BH FB hares Ear #16
JR Streamer Olive #6
March Brown #16

1000 CFS @ Gateway - The Gallatin River has risen quite a bit over the past few days with the warmer temps. It is pretty dirty at the moment but could come back into shape early next week with some cooler weather. Nymphing with bigger flies will be your best bet in the softer shallower water along the edges. It's possible we could see some Caddis later next week if things warm up.

Recommended Flies:

Mega Prince #8
Tung Jig Prince #14
SH Copper John #14
Sizzlin Hot Spot Squirrel #14
Rubberlegs #6
